Scott Columbus was still considered an official member of Manowar at the time of this EP but did not participate in the recordings.
The subtitle "From the Asgard Saga" refers to an unrealised multimedia project, created in collaboration with fantasy author Wolfgang Hohlbein. The Asgard Saga was intended to include at least one full-length album titled "Hammer of the Gods".
